Drill Collar

Drill collar: Made of AISI4145H alloy steel, drill collar mainly used between the dill pipe and drill head and connected by conversion connector so that they can provide the pressure and weighting to dill head, in order to make the dill head to keep right trace.

Spiral drill collar: Making of AISI 4145H alloy steel, this is a kind of dill collar which add three right out of spiral groove on the outer circle of ordinary drill collar when processing. The main effect is to reduce the drill collar wall in the area of contact and friction when working, maintain uniformity with the mud through spiral mobile, keep the balance of drill string and prevent pressure sticking. The single weight of spiral dill collar is 4% lighter than the same specification of ordinary dill collar, the two ends of the thread and the general shape are the same with drill collar. According to the form of spiral it is divided into Type I and Type II.

Non-magnetic: It is made of high quality low-carbon-alloy steel. The raw material undergo a rigorous analysis of the chemical composition by forging, through the testing of mechanical properties of hardness, toughness, impact value and intergranular corrosion cracking performance in order to reach the requirement of standards, at the same time owning a good low permeability and mechanical processing performance.

Drill pipe: This kind of product is made of AISI4145H alloy steel, mainly used between dill collar and dill pipe to ease transition stress concentration between dill collar and drill pipe and reduce the rate between contact area and outer wall wear. To avoid the wear and tear of dill pipe we add each 101m wide belt wear at the top and bottom of follow-welded joint and review 76m wide belt wear on the thickening of the central part of the governing body. To extend its life cycle we can also paint DPC spraying anti-corrosion coatings in the dill pipe wall.
